Initial Consultation
Each child is unique and the needs of each case are unique as well. Jessica offers a Free initial consultation to learn about your unique needs, answer questions and see if an advocate may be beneficial to your student’s outcomes.
IEP Coaching & Records Review
Provide coaching on the IEP process so parents can truly be their child's voice and get the education their child needs. The IEP process is complex. Jessica will help families learn the ins and outs from eligibility to dispute resolution options. Assist parents with developing goals and priorities, understand what the IEP meeting will be like, prepare questions and most importantly know their families rights before settling on a plan. This will include a comprehensive records review, which is a vital step in understanding how to best support your student.
Comprehensive Advocacy Services
The process of special education can be daunting and time consuming. For the families, that just don’t have the time and bandwidth to drudge through can lean on us to carry that burden. Our Comprehensive Advocacy Service will fully follow the process from beginning to end. Comprehensive Advocacy Service includes, but is not limited to:
-Educational Records Review, including helping to obtain missing records
-Family Consultation
-Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Process Review
-Parent-Teacher Conference Attendance
-Analysis of Accommodation and Modification Needs
-Attendance and Advocacy at Individualized Education Plan Meetings (IEP), parents are permitted to bring advocates to school meetings including IEP, 504 and conferences
-Resource Recommendation

Do you have an organization that would benefit from learning more about the special education process? PTA/PTO groups, mom’s clubs or other community organization. Knowledge is power and the more you can learn about special education the easier it will be to know when you may need to investigate more and seek advocacy services.
